At ELLIE SHAI we’re proud to support local non-profit organizations that aim to light up lives and ignite hope for those in need. We are focused on providing support for women’s health and wellness initiatives, programs that empower adolescent girls and initiatives focused on improving women’s maternal health.

As a small business we have a limited donation budget set aside for the year. We know asking for donations isn’t easy and there are many organizations in need, Unfortunately we can’t donate to all of them. We never want anyone to feel like their cause isn’t important to us because we can’t help at the moment.

To be considered: your Donation Request must align with our mission statement and meet all the criteria below:

• Donations are reserved for non-profit organizations with registered 501(c)(3) status, local schools and other recognized charitable entities. Must be located within the Buffalo-Niagara Region of New York State.

• To keep things fair and balanced, we do not donate to the same organization more than once per calendar year.
  
  
• All Donation Requests must be submitted at least 4-6 weeks in advance of your event or desired delivery date. This allows adequate time to prepare, create, and coordinate delivery.

• We prioritize local organizations that we already have established relationships with and those who actively engage with our business. Prior purchase or donation does not guarantee future donations.

We understand the urgency of your organizations work and will respond as quickly as possible.

• Tentatively Donation Requests are evaluated weekly and receive a reply within 4-5 business days. We kindly ask that you wait until our review period is over before sending a follow-up status email.
  
  
• Approval or Denial will be communicated via email with instructions on how to proceed.

• If you do not receive an email response within 7 business days, kindly consider your request denied. Please accept our sincerest apology for a delay in responding to your request. Occasionally things slip through the cracks, Thank you for your patience or understanding.

We do not support Donation Requests made by individuals, for-profit ventures, private businesses, political entities, religious activities, or events that do not align with our brand.

Sponsorship: Unfortunately we are unable to participate or contribute to any event sponsorships at this time.

Monetary Donations: We do not make cash donations to organizations. We donate 2-3 gift certificates each year to shop on our website.

Product Donations: At the moment we are unable to accommodate large scale product donations. We do offer qualified 501(c)(3) wholesale pricing on orders placed for charitable events, programs, groups, giveaways, etc. The MOQ for processing is $250 for opening orders and a $150 reorders, shipping not included. Thank you for your understanding.

Pickup: Gift Certificate or Item can be picked up or mailed to the Organization Address on the form.

Delivery: Available for organizations located within the city limits of Niagara Falls, New York.

To help us continue supporting the community and maintain a mutually beneficial relationship, We kindly ask that recipients of our donations:

• Provide a receipt for the donation within 72 hours of receiving it. It can be given immediately when delivered or via email once you receive the donation in the mail. We require it for our own records and any potential tax purposes.
  
  
• Mention or promote ELLIE SHAI in event material, social media or other communications (if appropriate).

• Share a brief note or 2-3 photos after the event to show how the donation was used and/or displayed.

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that ELLIE SHAI is a small, family-owned business with the right to decline any donation request. I understand that:

• Priority goes to organizations that actively patronize, support and engage with our business.
  
  
• Submitting this form does not guarantee a donation.

• All form fields must be completed or the request will be automatically denied.

• Duplicate requests will be automatically denied.

• If I do not hear back within 7 business days, the request has been denied.
